This student is expressing what the other students are either too scared to say or have been fooled into believing otherwise. He knows he’s allowed his opinion, yet the other students say nothing as they’re afraid they’re going to get into trouble. They’ve scared them into keeping quiet and not questioning authority.He genuinely gives a shit about the other students in his class and is pointing out the flaws in his education system.
The worst part is that the teacher doesn’t seem to be able to care less.
“You’re wasting my time” she said. Bullshit. Pointing out what is real, expressing an opinion, and especially expressing one which I’m sure many of the kids in that class share, that is not a waste of time.This guy has the guts, the mindset and overall the right to say this, and that is damn powerful.
Kudos to you, man.
